Add Workflow Task

The Policy and Client contexts have an "Add Activity" event creation. When the workflow feature is “turned on” (system property) and the User is associated with the Workflow Roles and there exist Workflow Tasks that may be added manually to the current context (Policy, Client), the Add Workflow Task links appear.

Selection of "Add Workflow Task" will present a pop-up containing a combo box and a "Cancel" button. The combo box will be populated with the task names from Workflow Task types with the creation methods of Manual and Both and the Entity code that matches the current context (Policy, Client). Selection of a combo box option will present a details section. The user may select a Status, assign the task to a User or provide a comment.

  1. Click Add Workflow Task option, and the Add Workflow Task window appears.

  2. Enter the following Details:

    1. Select the Date

    2. Select the task type from the Task Type drop down list

  3. To save the workflow task click Save option.
